It really was shocking when I first read about how Pavlov was supporting himself. And the fact that it became a pretty big business to support a whole team and a lab, was just fascinating.

They also figured out how to maximize the saliva the dogs secrete it turns out bread is better than meat. Which makes sense since saliva is needed to soften up bread and break it down.

It’s the beauty and fascination of being willing to take on any goal and commit to it, because in the process you’re led down other paths and to surprise life experiences you never would’ve encountered otherwise. Thanks for sharing the story!

Damn that’s a really obscure but insightful finding from Pavlov! Never knew stress kills conditioning. No wonder human being never change in comfort zones!

Isn't it funny Jason that all the focus is only on learning and how to condition us, almost never on shedding the bad lessons and conditioning.
