I think you are absolutely right that it can help us enormously and I've never heard this spin on it before. Nice article Louie. I had a case of frequency illusion when my wife was pregnant. It felt like the world was being taken over by pregnant women. They were everywhere. Then the same after the baby came. All of the sudden the pregnant women disappeared and the world was taken over by strollers and babies. š
Love the way you re-framed these. Iād suggest the treatment works for ADHD and OCD too, which I suspect are simply features of high-performance intellects
This is an illusion that a lot of people mistake for āmagicā (The Secret, Law of Attraction etc). Charlatans are great at exploiting it to the maximum.
